Out of Chapter Players Policy

NERO players from other chapters are welcome to join us at our games! Players may either request their home chapters to directly send us their character sheet a week before the game or they may bring two hardcopies of the character sheet and present them at check-in. Players who wish to NPC will also be required to have some sort of statement from their home chapter stating that they are current in their membership so that we are sure you’re insurance will be covered. Out of chapter players who wish to participate in fighter practices will also be required to bring their character sheets for insurance reasons.

All Unrestricted items from a valid NERO International chapter will be accepted without restriction so long as they are on printed tags and have the item name (must be an official NERO International item that can be created by PCs in the 8th edition rule book and/or the official NERO International Formal Magic Rules) listed on them. In addition, each tag must have the chapter of origin, date of issue, expiration date, transferability, and issuing staff member listed on them. In the case of Formal Magic Components, these must also contain the valid NERO International identification number for the component in question. In addition, all incoming tags must have a unique identification number for the purposes of tracking the item. Tags that have information that is contrary to standard national policy will be disallowed and confiscated if they are discovered in game play. This would include tags with non-standard abilities as well as tags that are missing any of the required information. Hand-written tags and/or those with a transferability other than Unrestricted will never be accepted, regardless of the number of signatures that are present on them. We cannot, according to NERO International policy, retag or alter existing tags from another chapter in any way.

Playtest Build: All build spent on playtests not currently in use by this chapter will be supressed, not made available for respending.

For a list of build currently in use at OGRE, please see: http://www.ohio-ogre.com/playtests.htm.  Items made from playtests not on this list will not be honored.

Non-standard effects: By coming to a game at OGRE, you are agreeing to the acceptance of standard effects delivered by non-standard means.  These attacks are blocked by method of delivery and healed/countered by their standard counters.  For example: Magic Hallucinoid is blocked by a shield magic, but once it takes effect is healed as normal by purify blood.
